
The tall winger joined the Sky Blues on a free transfer from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2006 and suffered a badly sprained ankle in a pre-season friendly with Boavista minutes after scoring a spectacular goal. He did not make his league debut until the end of October but what a debut. 26 seconds after coming off the bench he scored the winning goal at Barnsley. After just two more substitute appearances he was loaned to Sheffield Wednesday and later Bristol City. After retiring from professional football, he transitioned into a career in strength and conditioning, becoming Head of Strength and Conditioning at Wealdstone in May 2024.
