Harry Warren signed this young right winger from First Division Luton Town in the summer of 1957. He went straight into the first team and scored in his second game, a 2-2 draw at Newport. After Warren’s sacking in September of that year he played only further game and was released to join Yeovil before re-emerging at Crewe Alexandra later that season. He played 29 games for Alex over the next two seasons before rejoining Yeovil. He was a regular at the Huish until 1966 and helped the Glovers to win the Southern League title in 1964. Little more is known of Tony other than that his son, also named Tony, later played for Bristol Rovers, Hereford and Yeovil.
