Beavon began his career with Ardley United in 2001, progressing through clubs like Didcot Town, where he scored twice in their 2005 FA Vase victory, and Wycombe Wanderers. In January 2017, Beavon joined Coventry City from Burton Albion. He debuted on January 2, 2017, scoring in a 2–2 draw against Bolton Wanderers. Notably, he scored the opening goal in a 2–1 win over Wycombe Wanderers in the EFL Trophy Semi-Final, helping Coventry reach their first Wembley final in 30 years. After a loan to Wrexham in the 2018–2019 season, Beavon was released by Coventry in May 2019.
