
Began his career in West Bromwich Albion's youth system and later joined Millwall in 2011. Allsop gained first-team experience with Icelandic club Höttur and Leyton Orient before signing with AFC Bournemouth in 2013. During his time at Bournemouth, he had loan spells at Coventry City, Wycombe Wanderers, Portsmouth, Blackpool, and Lincoln City, and made 23 league appearances, including two in the Premier League. He subsequently played for Wycombe Wanderers, Derby County, Cardiff City, and Hull City before joining Birmingham City in 2024.
