Peter Clarke

During 2003-04 Peter spent a month on loan at Highfield Road in 2004 during the Eric Black era. A tall solid centre-half who impressed in his brief spell at the club even though in three of the games he played out of position at right-back. Only one of the five games was lost although Peter received a red card at Cardiff. Some fans hoped that Peter Reid would sign the lanky ex-Evertonian but he joined Blackpool. He was a graduate of the National School of Excellence and played for England at schoolboy, youth and under 21 levels.
