A pacy left-side player who was signed on loan from Portsmouth by Eric Black just before Christmas 2003. He started one game, at Bradford City and was substitute in an FA Cup game with Peterborough. Pitt came through the ranks at Chelsea with the likes of John Terry, Carlton Cole and Jody Morris and in 2001 he opted to join former Chelsea coach Graham Rix at Portsmouth for a tribunal set fee of £200,000. He was a regular in his first season at Fratton Park but lost his place under Harry Redknapp. After loans at Luton and Coventry he joined up with Rix again at Oxford in March 2004 but was soon released and went to Boston for a year before joining Cambridge United on a trial in Sept 2006.
