
He began his youth career at Arsenal before joining Coventry City in 2014, turning professional in 2016. Addai had loan spells at Hendon, Dulwich Hamlet—where he notably scored a 90th-minute winner from a free-kick inside his own half—AFC Telford United, and Redditch United. After leaving Coventry in January 2020, he spent time with Barnsley, including a loan to Chesterfield, and played for Denmark's Esbjerg fB. In summer 2022, he signed with Crawley Town, making 71 appearances before moving to Stockport County in 2024.
Addai was in the matchday squad over 50 times as backup keeper for City but never made a first team appearance.
