Blair Adams, an English left-back born in 1991, began his career at Sunderland's academy before joining Coventry City on loan in November 2012. He debuted in a 5-0 victory over Hartlepool United, quickly becoming a regular starter. In January 2013, Adams secured a permanent two-and-a-half-year contract with Coventry, where his consistent performances were praised by then-manager Mark Robins. However, in July 2014, Adams mutually terminated his contract with Coventry to seek more regular first-team opportunities, subsequently signing a two-year deal with Notts County. Adams coaches at South Shields' Futures Academy.
