Ben Mackey

Ben became the youngest-ever Coventry City player when he came on as a substitute against Ipswich at Highfield Road in April 2003 aged 16 years 167 days. His rapid rise to the senior ranks came after a four-goal youth team appearance and just one outing from the substitute’s bench for the reserves. The diminutive striker looked out of his depth in his three sub appearances.
