This was the sixth season of Hummel kits.

Fresh and rapidly expanding banking company Monzo became the new front of shirt sponsors, with a presence in the UK and the US the sponsorship deals seemed to be more prestigious, with Doug King keen to make the most of all revenue opportunities. King of Shaves moved from the front to the back of the shirts, with owner (and Doug’s brother) Will King becoming more invested in the club, demonstrated by a supportive social media presence.

Recruitment and technology firm Mercury became the new sleeve sponsors – another company with a presence in both the UK and the US. G&R Scaffolding continued as sponsor on the back of the shorts for the fifth season.

Font and numbers were unchanged, but there was a new charity partner logo on the numbers – EFL in the Community and there was a black keyline on the numbers. The Championship SkyBet sleeve patch and the equality message ‘Together’ on the right arm were unchanged. Carabao Cup patches were again worn in that competition, the slightly tweaked version was now embossed in line with other competition sleeves patches, FA Cup patches were unchanged.

The home kit reverted back to a sky blue shirt dropping the stripes. The shirt featured a repeated embossed version of a ‘Cofa’s Tree’ graphic (including ‘COV’ and ‘FC’) on the central panel, taking inspiration from the origins of Coventry. The crest was a more colourful with shading adding depth compared to the flatter colours of the previous few years. The Hummel logo was now rubberized and which added depth. Chevrons ran down each shoulder.

Shorts were now white with sky blue trim and two chevrons on each leg. A single sky blue stripe also ran down each side of the shorts which married up with with a white stripe down the side seams of the shirt. Socks were sky blue with the fold-over sporting the familiar white and navy trim used in the early tramline kits from 70s. There were 2 chevrons on the front of each sock and the back of the socks have ‘CCFC’ running vertically down. Long sleeve versions of the shirt were available as worn by Haji Wright and Victor Torp. The home kit was announced on 12th July 2024.

Goalkeeper shirts were bespoke again. The all green version featured a flame design on the shirt inspired by the flames in the club crest. Shorts were now green with white trim and two chevrons on each leg. A single white stripe also ran down each side of the shorts which married up with with a white stripe down the side seams of the shirt. Socks were green with the fold-over sporting two white stripes. There were 2 chevrons on the front of each sock and the back of the socks have ‘CCFC’ running vertically down. The kit was announced on 12th July 2024.

The second keeper kit was all black with the same design template as the green shirt but the flame pattern was picked out in a rainbow effect outline. Shorts and socks were black. The kit was announced on 16th August 2024.

The third keeper kit was a red version of the green keeper outfit and was announced on 12th September 2024.

The away strip was white shirt and socks with navy shorts. The shirt featured a grey pattern made up of the different districts of Coventry as they appear on a map to represent everyone from the City coming together. Shorts were navy with white trim, socks were white with navy trim. The kit was announced on 16th August 2024.

The 3rd kit was a much anticipated all black outfit with gold trim. The shirt featured a modern take on the 60’s and 70’s style crest and the central panel had a shadow check pattern as a nod to 2 Tone. Gold chevrons ran down each shoulder and all sponsors appeared in gold also. The kit was announced to a very positive reaction on 12th September 2024.

On the 7th February 2025 City revealed a limited edition 4th kit would be made available the next day and worn for the FA Cup 4th Round game with Ipswich Town. The kit was all dark blue with blue trim, sponsors and the same 60’s style crest used on the 3rd kit. The Cofa’s Tree embossed design featured on the home kit was again used and the kit followed that template. Bespoke letters and numbers appeared on the players shirts – the first time City had not used the standard league fonts since they were introduced. A donation from the profits of the kit will be donated to two local causes – Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice and Sky Blues in the Community.
