In February 2008 Iain Dowie was sacked after a defeat at Preston & coach Frankie Bunn & fitness coach John Harbin were put in joint charge. They drew their first game (Cardiff H) 0-0 and lost the following Saturday, to West Brom in the FA Cup (0-5). Chris Coleman was appointed the following week.
