2024-25 home kit

This was the sixth season of Hummel kits and the home kit reverted back to a sky blue shirt dropping the stripes.
The shirt featured a repeated embossed version of a ‘Cofa’s Tree’ graphic (including ‘COV’ and ‘FC’) on the central panel, taking inspiration from the origins of Coventry. The crest was a more colourful with shading adding depth compared to the flatter colours of the previous few years. The Hummel logo was now rubberized and which added depth. Chevrons ran down each shoulder.
Shorts were now white with sky blue trim and two chevrons on each leg. A single sky blue stripe also ran down each side of the shorts which married up with with a white stripe down the side seams of the shirt.
Socks were sky blue with the fold-over sporting the familiar white and navy trim used in the early tramline kits from 70s. There were 2 chevrons on the front of each sock and the back of the socks have ‘CCFC’ running vertically down.
Fresh and rapidly expanding banking company Monzo became the new front of shirt sponsors, with a presence in the UK and the US the sponsorship deals seemed to be more prestigious, with Doug King keen to make the most of all revenue opportunities.
King of Shaves moved from the front to the back of the shirts, with owner (and Doug’s brother) Will King becoming more invested in the club, demonstrated by a supportive social media presence.
Recruitment and technology firm Mercury became the new sleeve sponsors – another company with a presence in both the UK and the US. G&R Scaffolding continued as sponsor on the back of the shorts for the fifth season.
Font and numbers were unchanged, but there was a new charity partner logo on the numbers – EFL in the Community and there was a black keyline on the numbers. The Championship SkyBet sleeve patch and the equality message ‘Together’ on the right arm were unchanged.
Carabao Cup patches were again worn in that competition, the slightly tweaked version was now embossed in line with other competition sleeves patches.
Long sleeve versions of the shirt were available as worn by Haji Wright and Victor Torp.
The kit was announced on 12th July 2024.
